New Year, New Logo: The Future of Connect and Equipe

As 2024 comes to a close, we take a moment to “debug” our journey and analyze the “code strings” that have written the story of the past few years. We are now in our ninth year of innovation, which began in 2016, and we are about to celebrate a decade of challenges overcome, goals achieved, and dreams realized.

Connect: an Innovative SME in HealthTech

Today, Connect stands out as an innovative SME in the HealthTech sector. We operate in various areas: from electronic health records (EHR) to telemedicine for remote medical services, from artificial intelligence to digital medical devices, and healthcare data analytics. In each of these fields, our goal is to simplify clinical practice and support healthcare professionals with cutting-edge, user-friendly solutions.

Over the past nine years, Connect has reinvented itself with courage and vision, investing 20% of its annual revenue in Research and Development every year, driven by dedication and a strong passion. This commitment has never wavered and has led us to results we are proud of today.

The Evolution of Equipe: A Journey of Milestones

The Equipe platform is our flagship product, now recognized as one of the most innovative platforms in the European market, with solid roots in Italy and an increasingly significant presence in Spain, the UK, and Ireland.

The quality of the user interface and the richness of its functionality have always been our distinguishing features. It is only thanks to the trust placed in us by our clients that we have been able to achieve the results we are proud of today. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them.

Looking back over the past nine years, we remember with pride when, in 2016, Equipe was the first electronic health record entirely designed for tablets, marking a turning point in how clinical information management was conceived, making it more accessible and intuitive.

In 2020, we reached another milestone: the creation of the first 100% paperless electronic health record in the social-healthcare sector. This was an ambitious goal in a context where documentation and medication management are critical to patient safety.

This year marked another key moment: the electronic health record was adopted in both the Acute and Rehabilitation contexts, thus completing all types of departmental operational processes, enabling our clients to manage their operations paperlessly and 100% digitally, including online surgical appointment bookings and the automated management of waiting lists, in compliance with legal requirements.

Digital Twin and Innovative Previews

This year, we were the first in Europe to preview the “Digital Twin” for doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams involved in drafting care plans (PAI, PRI, and more). This AI-based innovation was met with great success at the events in Milan and Rome in October, where we had the honor of sharing this preview with you.

Exciting Developments for 2025

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce that in 2025, the practical use of artificial intelligence to reduce operational times and automate the most repetitive tasks will be one of the many new features we will introduce. This cutting-edge technology will help lighten the workload of healthcare providers and administrative staff, allowing them to focus more on patient care.

Also, in 2025, we will launch new modules for outpatient care, web and cloud-based, which will include a multichannel booking system, an online reporting station, a patient loyalty system, CRM, and much more.

These solutions are the culmination of twenty years of experience in managing outpatient clinics and medical offices, and we are eager to share them with you, knowing that each solution will be enhanced by artificial intelligence to eliminate repetitive tasks and allow more time for patient care.

Equipe365cloud and Certifications

This year, we introduced Equipe365cloud, an innovative solution for hosting our platform on a secure and efficient cloud. This new feature completes the infrastructure we offer to our clients, ensuring maximum scalability and reliability. Over the years, we have also earned ISO9001, ISO13495, and ISO27001 certifications, demonstrating our commitment to quality, software security, and data protection on our platform and cloud.

A New Logo and a New Domain for a Unified Entity

Today, the Equipe platform manages over 100,000 patients per month through our clients’ installations, with a total of about 10 million clinical documents generated monthly. These numbers reflect the trust you place in us and the responsibility we feel to continue improving.

As 2025 marks the completion of Equipe’s first decade of major investments, we have decided to refresh both the company and product logos, presenting them to the market as two sides of the same coin. At the same time, we are updating our URL to www.connectequipe.com.

Connect is a team of over 50 people across 6 countries, and Equipe is our flagship product—a comprehensive healthcare platform, an operating system compliant with healthcare standards, capable of orchestrating all medical, administrative, and organizational workflows for both Inpatient (Acute, Rehabilitation, Residential) and Outpatient (Ambulatory, Homecare, Territorial Services) settings.

With the new logo, we aim to symbolize the unity of purpose and synergy between our team and the solutions we provide, reflecting a strong and consistent identity that is determinedly focused on the future.
